AMC attain ISO 9001 Accreditation for the Design & Manufacture of Computer Equipment
Advanced Modular Computers, manufacturer and supplier of rackmount computer systems, has successfully upgraded its administration and production processes from ISO9002 to ISO9001:2000. The company has also achieved ISO9001 for its design and development operation, further differentiating them from other rack-mount systems providers.
The scope of the audit undertaken for AMC encompassed 'The design, manufacture and after sales support of computer equipment'. AMC qualified with flying colours leading the auditor to comment:
'An extremely well supported Quality Management System. The input from all staff and the effectiveness of internal business management systems has enabled this company to upgrade to ISO9001:2000 with zero non-compliances.'
AMC regard the attainment of ISO9001:2000 on the 30th January 2003 as an essential milestone in helping them to develop design services within the Company. This is in keeping with their strategy of offering their customers better rackmount solutions.
