Description

The AMC-NAS-4100 disk online server is the first industry standard Network Attached Storage (NAS) unit from AMC to incorporate Gigabit Ethernet technology. It comes built with an Intel Celeron CPU and 256MB SDRAM to meet the growing demand for high performance and mission critical storage within the business environment.

The AMC-NAS-4100 offers hot-swappable HDDs and additional protection via RAID levels 0, 1 and 5. It allows cross platform support of Microsoft Networks (CIFS/SMB), Apple (AFP), Unix (NFS), Novell Netware, FTP (File Transfer Protocol) and Internet Web Browser to ensure file accessibility at both local and remote levels. The onboard Ultra SCSI expansion port allows the connection of an additional SCSI device such as tape backup for extra data protection.
