IEI Bluetooth Module

IEI GPRS Module
An optional IEI GPRS module on the AMC-AFL all-in-one panel PC enables easier access to the Internet through a GSM network. The GPRS module provides Internet connection mobility enabling centralized control of and access to devices implemented in remote applications like POS devices and delivery service checking devices. (Please note: The GPRS module is for AMC-AFL-15A/17A/19A model only. For AMC-AFL-15A model, if the GPRS module is used, the HDD can not be installed.)

IEI Fast Transmission Advantage
When communicating at high data rates, or over long distances in real world environments, single-ended methods are often inadequate. Differential data transmission (balanced differential signal) offers superior performance in most applications. Differential signals can help nullify the effects of ground shifts and induced noise signals that can appear as common mode voltages on a network.
- RS-422 (differential) was designed for greater distances and higher Baud rates than RS-232.
- RS-485 meets the requirements for a truly multi-point communications network, and the standard specifies up to 32 drivers and 32 receivers on a single (2-wire).

Watchdog Timer Function
The motherboard provides the value-added Watchdog Timer function for AMC-AFL panel PC series. Watchdog Timer ensures that if the system does not report completion of its information saving task within assigned period of time, the operating system will reboot with or without the information saved. When there's error in the system, the Watchdog Timer function can keep the system working normally through the automatic restart function within a certain amount of time, decreasing the maintenance expense caused by system halted.

AMC-AFL models with VIA Eden Processors are fanless while maintaining above-average performance, extending operational lives as they are not exposed to overheating problems caused by fan failures.
Rugged Design
The AMC-AFL is directly mounted internally to a metal main frame rather than a fragile plastic cover. IEI Quick Mounting Technology

VESA Mounting Standards
The AFL panel PC series has four mounting holes compliant with the VESA mounting standard (100mm x 100mm) on the rear panel for stand mounting and other mounting methods.
