Description
The AMC-614 is a high quality 19 inch rackmount computer available from Advanced Modular Computers. Ideal for integrating ISA and PCI bus based systems in telecom, network server or ISP applications, the system offers a choice of PC/AT compatible backplanes. Examples include a standard 14-siot ISA backplane or the latest combination ISA-PCI backplanes. The AMC-614 is also an excellent choice for split backplane configurations allowing multiple systems to be incorporated in a single chassis.
Thermistor controlled twin fans deliver positive pressure airflow to all system components, reducing noise and ensuring that cooling is available on demand. Filtered air enters the AMC-614 through the front panel reducing the build up of dust. There is also an alternative front removable air filter for ease of maintenance. Evacuation of the air has been improved by the shielded connector cage. This unique design increases the surface area that is normally available on a 19 inch rackmount computer thereby improving the airflow within the system. The Status Display Panel provides dual processor board monitoring for disk activity, power, system reset, keyboard lock and reset lock.
Front-accessible drive bays provide space for up to three 5?" half-height drives. There is also provision for mounting two additional 3?" half-height hard drives internally.
The AMC-614 has been designed to meet EMC requirements. RF emissions are minimised by using a shielded connector cage and close pitch screws securing the top cover to increase high frequency attenuation. The AMC-614 can be tailored to fit your applications exactly with a customised front panel and colour of your choice.
