Description
The AMC-1010/1020 enhanced 1U / 2U server chassis’ are designed for modern networking server applications. The unique 2x20 character LCD module (A78) on the front panel, provides customers with a programmable display for server name, IP address, system and alarm messages for example.
If a problem were to occur, an IT engineer could use the displayed message to find out which server has been affected and what happened. Another special function is the inbuilt A106 alarm board which monitors various temperatures and fan speeds. It also has an External Watch Dog Timer to monitor a user system for failure.
The AMC-1010 / 1020 is designed for use mainly with single board computers which allows the user to plug in 2 full length PCI cards (AMC-1010) or 5 full length PCI/ISA cards (AMC-1020). This would not be possible with the motherboard alternative. A distinct advantage is the ease of installation of the CPU card which only requires the adjustment of one screw. The system is an ideal application for image monitoring or industrial automation or as a compact size CTI solution

- 3.5" Hard Disk Drive Bay: Removable with aluminium housing for best cooling performance. Two types of HDD are provided:
- IDE Interface HDD Bay - supports ATA66 interface
- SCSI Interface HDD Bay - Supports SCA HDD
